The doorway
another time had sat
there
yellow walls framing blue
the canopy had placed me down
a curved brown head
spokes like a wheel
cold fresh air
the big grey stone
white, and black
swirling heel to heel
Tumbling down
laughter rang in the air
No one knew, no one thought
including me
Words and letters by the page
brought to me at bedtime's rage
clear glass panes
ringing still
with no one there
to hear them.
